As the standstill over the recovery of Labour Cess prolongs, the Ambad Industries & Manufacturers' Association (AIMA) is planning to send a committee of its office-bearers to meet the state labor minister Hasan Mushrief in the next week to sort out the issue.

In this project one such center is likely to be establishing at Ambad industrial area of Nasik. Regarding this a committee from Tata Consultancy Services recently has visited at Nasik.
A Team of Chinese industrialist has visited Nashik on 30th May, to inspect industrial growth opportunities and favorable industrial friendly conditions. Three senior industrialists from China Lee, Goyu and Liyu, has shown interest in investing in Nashik. Mahindra & Mahindra’s Nashik plant caught fire on 9th May, 2012, in the morning. This incident initiated at the storage areas of Scorpio department.
The operations at M&M Nashik hampered. First shift and general shift was suspended for one day due to safety measures. The incident took place early in the morning at 5:30 am and it took six hours for the firefighters to eradicate the fire completely.
