Nasik is the land of grapes which has globally applauded for its variety with quality of wines. The calm, non corrosive and dust-free environment of Nasik is very favorable for the development of wine fruit. As now wine produced from Nasik is fully appreciated on global level, it is observe that very less number of foreign tourists are visiting this capital of wine.To increase the visits of foreign tourists to wineries at Nasik, Indian Association of Tour Operators will put their efforts.
Recently 40 members of Indian Association of Tour Operators visited to various wineries in Nasik and surrounding areas. Director of Tourmark Jubin Modi (Mumbai), members Lajpat Rai (Delhi), Manish Ambrol (Gurgaon), Nikhil Pundit (Jaipur), were present there. This tour was arranged by office bearer of All India Wine Producers Association, Manoj Jagtap. On their two day tour they visited at Sula Vineyard, York Winery, Valle de Vine, Chateau d'Ori etc.
A number of tourists visit India from global level. All these tourists visits usual destinations in India, Indian Association of Tour Operators always manage to serve them, guide them. For development and advertising of wine industry in Nasik division, state government of Maharashtra is also putting its efforts; however a long path is remaining to pass by them. Indian Association of Tour Operators will make tourists to visit at wineries in Nasik. In this way they will promote and advertise the winery business in Nasik. Association has 1400 members across the nation; all these members will encourage tourists to visit the Nasik and its wineries. Hopefully this effort will boost the wine industry in Nasik.
