Acquisition process of 77 acre land for sub-center at Ahmednagar is on final stage. 96 acres of land will be acquired by University for its sub-center in Nasik.
For its distance education students, the Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU) has started an interactive live web-radio from its campus studio in Nasik, Maharashtra. In the presence of Vice Chancellor R Krishnakumar , "Yashwani" ( an interactive live web-radio) was inaugurated by Divisional revenue commissioner Ravindra Jadhav.
Soon an inspection drive at the malls and hotels in city is the plan for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for monitoring transaction of food items as prescribed under the Food Safety and Standards Act.
Joint commissioner of Nasik Division for FDA, Chandtrakant Pawar said that they are planning to launch an inspection drive at malls across Nasik. The objective is to ensure that consumers are getting quality foods with good packaging. There are six-seven super markets and malls across the city.
