Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) has announced a photography competition. The purpose behind this is to known with tourist locations which are not discover not only in Nasik district, but across the division. In aim to enhance tourism of North Maharashtra this competition expanses for five districts namely Nasik, Dhule, Ahmednagar, Jalgaon and Nandurbar. Each year 27th September is celebrated as World Tourism Day globally.

Tourism always hold important place in earning revenue for state government of Maharashtra. Both to celebrate World Tourism Day and enhancing tourism MTDC have arranged this completion.
