Builders Have To Implement Conveyance Deeds StrictlyFrom next month a survey across the city to reduce the backlog of conveyance deeds to be issued to property owners will be taken by officials of the registrar of cooperatives.

Notices will be issued to the builders, who have not executed the conveyance deed at apartments and cooperative housing societies, to transfer the ownership of the properties to the related apartments or housing societies.

Soon Land Will Be Available For IndustriesVery soon district administration will start negotiation with farmers with an aim to boost the land acquisition process for the growth of industry. For sometime after transfer of former district collector P Velarasu, the negotiations with the farmers were stopped. In June 2012 the new district collector, Vilas Patil, who took charge as Collector of Nasik, could not refresh negotiations with the farmers for the last three months.

Builders Are Instructed To Pay VAT At EarliestBuilders in the city began to registering themselves and their firms with the sale tax department of the state government to follow the instructions about submitting VAT (Value Added Tax).

Furthermore, the Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Association (CREDAI) has apparently decided to pay value added tax (VAT) of 1% from April 1, 2010, whereas the issue of paying previous VAT for the past four years from April 1, 2006 to March 31, 2010 is given by Supreme Court.
