Home prices in Nasik have increased by 15 percent recently

Property prices in Nashik were already beyond the reach of middle class residents and now the sudden increase in the prices will dishearten most of the home buyers. The reason behind this sudden 15 percent rise in prices is mainly due to two reasons –

increase in building material prices and increase in Maharashtra Government court stamp fees and registration charges. Increased petroleum prices have increased the transportation charges says most of the builders in Nashik, who are not at all happy with this raise and are worried about losing potential customers. This is not the only reason, in January; the State Government has already increased the ready-reckoner prices by 23 percent and now the court stamp fees and registration charges. Now the new home buyers in Nashik have no other option than paying the increased prices. New prices are in effective from 20th April, 2012. Earlier the court stamp fees for first five lacs were Rs.7,600 and now there is 5 percent increase on it and even the building material have been increased by Rs. 30 per sq ft. A combined result of all these factors resulted in the sudden rise in home prices in Nashik.
