Office of the Additional Principle Chief Conservator of Forest (wildlife) is preparing for a Nandur Madhmeshwar Wetland Management Action Plan. Regarding this a meeting will held with various authorities like Sub-Divisional Officer Niphad, Assistant Commissioner of Fisheries, Maharashtra Pollution Board, Deputy Regional Manager, Executive engineer, District Animal Husbandry Officer and Deputy Conservator of Forests (East), Nasik.
For health related works for the Kumbh mela in 2015, the Nasik Municipal Corporation (NMC) has worked out a plan worth Rs 110 crore. As per the civic health officials the proposal was necessary considering the arrival of pilgrims which could lead to disease outbreaks.

Purpose of this project is for the future demand of water supply throughout the upcoming Kumbh Mela. Trimbakeshwar town will be co-hosting Kumbh Mela along with Nasik city. Water requirements for Trimbakeshwar for this time are anticipated as 43 million liters per day (MLD).
10lakh visitors per day will be estimated to visit the Trimbakeshwar during the Mela. MJP engineers have stated that the water supply project is in its beginning phase.
