Nandur Madhmeshwar Soon To be Decalre As RAMSAR SiteA new feather in the cap of Nasik, Nandur Madhmeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary will be soon recognized RAMSAR site (a wetland of international importance). Office of the Additional Principle Chief Conservator of Forest (wildlife) is preparing for a Nandur Madhmeshwar Wetland Management Action Plan. Regarding this a meeting will held with various authorities like Sub-Divisional Officer Niphad, Assistant Commissioner of Fisheries, Maharashtra Pollution Board, Deputy Regional Manager, Executive engineer, District Animal Husbandry Officer and Deputy Conservator of Forests (East), Nasik.
