Loksangeet, the Maharashtrian folk songs event was organized on January 10, with five famous Marathi singers including Nandesh Umap, Adarsh Shinde, Prasenjit Kosambi, Urmila Dhangar and Zee Marathi Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs' famed Kartiki Gaikwad.

Nashik Run Charitable Trust (NRCT) successfully organized its 10th Nashik Run on Sunday, January 8, 2012 and completed a decade of social cause. More than 15000 Nasikites join their hands and ran for this noble cause, showing their passion for fitness and charity, on a freezing Sunday morning.
Mahatma Nagar Cricket Ground was filled up by people wearing blue t-shirts with Nashik Run 2012 imprinted on them. At the start of the event, Salil Raje put forth the idea behind organizing Nashik Run and appreciated the support from Nashikkars for this initiative.
